Ravenel Associates Real Estate Increases Agency Capabilities
COURTNEY DUNCAN AND CLIFF MELTON JOIN TEAM

Ravenel Associates Real Estate - RARE Charleston - continues to expand its broker and sales capabilities with the addition of two new Realtors®, Courtney Duncan and Cliff Melton, both native Charlestonians with a variety of corporate sales, marketing and negotiating experiences. Duncan and Melton join an existing team of ten realtors managed by Broker-in-Charge, Forrest Edwards.
Prior to joining RARE, Duncan enjoyed a successful career in fundraising, event planning, branding, public relations and marketing for various organizations, including the American Heart Association, MUSC, Walt Disney World, and the John F. Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in communications and marketing from Queens College in Charlotte, NC. Duncan is a member of the Charleston Trident Realtors Association and assists with planning membership events for the Association. Duncan is also a sailing enthusiast who loves being in the Charleston harbor, a sport which she has enjoyed since childhood.
As a life-long resident of the Charleston area, Melton contributes a unique perspective on property values within the Lowcountry. Melton draws on over 30 years of experience negotiating multi-million dollar contracts with large corporations, such as Tyson Foods, Heinz and Clorox. He has the proven ability to work with a variety of professionals while negotiating successfully on behalf his clients. Melton earned a Bachelor of Science in marketing from the University of South Carolina School of Business.Now that his three daughters are grown, he spends his time golfing and hiking the Great Smoky Mountains and the Appalachian Mountains of western North Carolina.

RARE Charleston
Established property management firm Ravenel Associates, LLC, launched the RARE Charleston division in 2014. The agency now has twelve agents and handles a variety of real estate transactions including single family residential, multi-unit residential, resort, land tracts, historic properties, waterfront properties and a variety of commercial transactions. RARE Charleston and Ravenel Associates reside at 960 Morrison Drive, a renovated commercial complex in the NoMo area of Charleston. The building was formerly referred to as the Harry S. Johnson building and is managed by Ravenel Associates.
